Inheriting the ever so joyous disposition of his beautiful and loving mother, Veronica, Amarie was always smiling and had hugs / kisses for everyone. Amarie was an energetic and rambunctious child who boldly explored the world around him. From the moment he learned to walk (inspired by a piece of cheese) Amarie was into EVERYTHING; constantly in motion. He loved to eat, and his favorite foods included Chicken Nuggets and the occasional sheet of Bible paper.
Amarie attended P.S. 307 and was a student who LOVED to learn. Amarie enjoyed playing on his Kindle tablet, reciting his favorite Bible verse, Jesus Wept”, riding the trains, playing with dogs, and singing his favorite song, “Love Come Down” by Evelyn Champagne King. Amarie especially loved the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.; notably, the Delta Alpha Zeta Chapter and their Youth Auxiliary members, who adored him.
Amarie is survived by his mother, Veronica Ransom; father, Clive Wiggins; stepfather, Anthony Knox; sister, Lashay Wiggins; grandmothers, Michelle Ransom-Ponton and Myrtle Wiggins; grandfathers, Abdul Ponton and Venrice Wiggins; great grandfather, Charles Ransom; aunts, Kaydeon Wiggins, Terryann Wiggins, MollyAnn Wiggins and Meletta Wiggins; uncle, Raymon Walker; godmothers, Tyneka Johnson and Nadia Burrell; godbrothers, Isaiah Johnson and Dechantel Steel; a host of cousins, aunties of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and uncles of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.; extended family and friends.
Lovingly Submitted, The Family
