I've know Chan almost all of my life. Chandella and I were in the first grade together at Baxter Patrick Elementary School, went to school together at James Island Middle and graduated together from James Island High School in 1981. Chan always went after what she wanted. While getting ready for our school play in the first grade, Chandella told the teacher, "My momma said if I can't be Little Bo Peep, I can't be in the play". I thought to myself, who does she think she is? But guess who was Little Bo Peep!! LOL Chan and I always kept in touch. When I lived in Chicago, Chan called me and said that she will be in Chicago for a training class. We met for dinner and then took a tour of Chicago. We had a wonderful time. The last time that we saw each it was really a pleasant surprise. I was going into the subway and she was coming out of the subway on her way to work. It was faith that we ran into each other that day. Out of all the subway entrances and exits, in NYC, we were at the same place at the same time. When we texted each other on February 10, only God knew that that who have been the last time. Going to really miss you my dear friend. Rest In Peace.

Though Chandella has transitioned from an earthly Saint to a heavenly Angel, she remains in our memory and in our hearts. Read and know Philippines 1:21 assures us that she is eternally in the comforting arms of her heavenly Father. Our love to you now and always, Douglas and Beverly Branham.

I have known Chandella since we were in the first grade together at Baxter Patrick Elementary School in Charleston, SC and graduated together from James Island High School in 1981. Chan always went after what she wanted. While in the first grade, we were getting ready for the school play. Chandella told the teacher, "My momma said, if I can't be Little Bo Peep, I can't be in the play!!" I thought to myself, who does she think she is? LOL But guess who was Little Bo Peep? I will always have fond memories of my dear friend. Rest In Peace Chandella.
