Rohan Samtula , 58 of Mt. Vernon, New York went home to be with Lord on Friday May 17, 2019. He was born January 26, 1961 Kingston, Jamaica, W.I.to the late Sylvia Rajkumar-Mitchell and Henry Emanuel Samtula.

Rohan was a very dedicated and loving brother, uncle, brother-in-law, church brother and friend. Rohan loved God and literally believe in His power for all things. He was a strong, sincere, reserved, independent, hardworking, ambitious and loved his mother and family unconditionally.
Rohan loved to cook and fed his family and friends at all family functions.
He was a very neat and clean person. He made jokes occasionally but was a no-nonsense person.
He was the fifth of eleven children and the first son of five brothers of which his youngest brother pre-deceased him in 1997.
He is survived by his sisters , Deloris Williams, Yvonne Fuller, Pauline Bailey, Sharma Singh, Marie Samtula-Williams, Louise Silva and brothers Clinton Mitchell (JA), Mark Mitchell, Calvin Mitchell and Keba Mitchell- Daley.
Brothers-in-Law Leroy G. Williams Patrick Bailey, Michael Daley, Errol Williams, Richard Silva.
Sisters-in- Law Yvonne Mitchell, uncle Alvin Singh, 17 nieces and 8 nephews,
36 grand nieces and nephews, church family, cousins, and friends.
Thanksgiving Service is scheduled for Sunday May 25th at Anointed End Time Outreach Tabernacle at 4541 White Plains Road, Bronx, NY 10470
Viewing Starts: 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Service 10:45 – 12:45 p.m.
Interment follows immediately to Kensico Cemetery Valhalla, New York.
